Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Fairing Installation - 2017 Jeep Renegade

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2017 Jeep Renegade, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack fairing for roof racks, part number RRRF2. This fairing gives your roof rack more of an aerodynamic look to it, so it's gonna help cut down on wind noise and drag while you're traveling at high speeds by just deflecting the air over the top of it.The stylish design is gonna enhance the look of your roof as well as your roof rack. When wind hits our fairing, we're gonna see that it can bounce a bit, which is why we have these rubber bumpers installed along the bottom of the fairing to help protect the top of your roof's finish. Now that I've gone over some of its features, I'll show you how it installs. We already have our fairing partially assembled, so I'll go ahead and show you how to assemble it the rest of the way. Right here, we have the four parts of our bottom clamp assembly with our nuts and bolts. And then we have the rest of our fairing assembly bracket right there. more

It can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, ski and snowboard carriers, and kayak carriers. The bars are strong and durable, and together have a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, though you always want to double check with your vehicle's manuals to make sure it can withstand those weights. Also, if you wanted to cut down wind noise and drag with the bars, you can purchase a Yakima fairing, which you can find on etrailer.com.It's very easy to install. It simply wraps around your existing factory raised side rail, tightens down, and also tightens down to the bar as well. On our end caps here we do have knockouts for the Yakima Same Key System, which is sold separately, and once you install those not only will it be secured to your roof, but you can also make it keyed alike to the accessories for your roof as well. more
